They \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ci\u003epush back to move ahead\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, creating fragmented narratives, pulling the reader forward, both the reader and the poems seeking more. Stengel’s poems allow for possibilities, they are not prescriptive.
